[Fun] Top 8 Things to Do at Christmas Wonderland, Gardens by the Bay

Found a place to countdown to Christmas?

Two more days left to enjoy Christmas Wonderland if you have yet to experience it! It is our first year at Christmas Wonderland and I think we will go there every year from now onwards!

This place is decorated with lovely lights and the food & retail stores are built like little cottages. I totally feel not in Singapore when I visited it.

Best Time to visit the Christmas Wonderland is 1 hr before sunset, so that you can experience the atmosphere and scenery under both day and night lights.

Visiting before sunset aka before dinner time also means it will be less crowded and shorter queues at the food stalls.

Once you have finished with your “dinner”, you can try out Top 7 Activities in the vicinity.

TOP 8 ACTIVITIES TO DO

1. Take Beautiful Photographs of the Christmas Lights

Love both daylight and nightlight photos!

I feel like I am in a fairy wonderland among the beautiful “trees” and Christmas lightings!

Reindeers are one of my favorite animals. I think it is because they remind me of Santa Clause. Everyone with a child in you loves Santa Clause. I remember I once wrote an essay on “If I can be anyone, I will choose to be Santa Clause”. I will wish to shower all children in the world (especially those children from less advantaged family) with gifts to make a difference in their lives.

2. Outdoor Ice-Skating

We were surprised to see how is an outdoor iceskating possible but I think the material used is really interesting. It actually makes outdoor iceskating in tropical countries like Singapore possible! Technology advancement is like magic!

3. Bumper Cars

Apart from Bumper Cars, there are other kiddy rides too. But I am attracted to the Bumper Cars because of the beautiful lights and Xmas songs.

4. Santa Grotto

There was a long queue outside the Santa’s Grotto so we did not get to go in. But I think you can take lovely photographs in the Santa’s Grotto and experiences winter.

5. Circus Performance

We didn’t queue up for this either but I saw that there were a couple of shows everyday and the performance is professional and exciting. So try to catch it when you are there.

6. Check Out Pretty Food & Retail Huts

I really love these pretty cottages/huts.

I thought the Sock Toys were really cute and they inspired me to maybe try and make one myself.. soon.. haha!

7. Chill at Super Tree, IndoChine

I was bio-ing at the Super Tree, IndoChine reception counter when Laogong suggested we go for a chill since we have time till the next Snow Show.

For $20, we get a free beer or house wine and unlimited time chilling and admiring the night scenery on the Roof Top Bar.

8. Snow Show

To many who had seen the Real Snow, maybe it is really no deal. But I really feel the Snow Show is a good touch to the Christmas Wonderland. It is like a MUST have in a event package, ie. food, shopping, music, lights, entertainment and snow.

So what are you waiting for? Head down to the Christmas Wonderland before it ends! Don’t worry if you have not bought the tickets online. There are ticketing stores there and the pricing is only a bit more than online purchase.

Enjoy and Have Fun!
